My Home Ankura achieves IGBC Platinum Certification for Operations & Maintenance

Our work at My Home Ankura stands as a proud reflection of this vision.
In collaboration with the Residents Association and without the involvement of external consultants we achieved the IGBC Platinum Certification for Operations & Maintenance, the highest distinction awarded by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).
The IGBC, established by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), is India’s leading body promoting sustainable building practices. Its certification assesses how efficiently a building is run from energy and water use to waste, air quality, and community well-being. The Platinum rating represents the highest level of performance under this system.
This achievement places My Home Ankura among the top five projects in India, earning the highest score across the Telugu states. Even more notably, it is the first My Home project to be recognized with this certification, a milestone that reflects the power of teamwork, dedication, and purpose-driven facility management.
As highlighted in regional media coverage, this milestone also marks Ankura’s recognition under IGBC’s Green Residential Society framework — a category in which only a select number of communities across India have achieved the Platinum level. The certification evaluates several sustainability parameters, and Ankura’s efforts stood out in areas such as rainwater harvesting, solar energy adoption, wastewater recycling, organic waste processing, enhanced green landscaping, and the promotion of eco-friendly practices among residents
